Deel is hiring a DevOps Engineer to bridge software development and IT operations, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability of Deel’s applications. You will collaborate with Development, IT, and Product teams to automate tasks, enhance deployment processes, and improve system performance for a global customer base.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of DevOps experience in production environments.
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes in production deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Drone, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Strong IT background and practical problem-solving.
• Familiarity with AWS services (EKS, Postgres, S3, Mongo, SES, SNS, SQS).
• Experience in automated deployment and infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of alerting and monitoring tools.
• NodeJS knowledge is a plus.
• Results-driven with a focus on completing tasks.

• Work with latest AWS technologies (Kubernetes, S3, Postgres, DocumentDB).
• Manage AWS production deployments (SaaS) on EKS.
• Design and build tools for CI/CD automation and IaC on cloud production systems.
• Improve production stability, availability and reliability.
• Install, configure, update and troubleshoot product microservices and databases.
• Design and manage monitoring/observability tools for issue resolution.

Summary

The DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery of Deel’s applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with Development, IT, and Product teams to improve deployment processes, automate manual tasks, and ensure that Deel’s systems are scalable, secure, and high-performing. By improving infrastructure, reducing downtime, and speeding up the release of new features, your work will directly impact Deel’s ability to innovate and maintain high-quality services for its global customers.

Responsibilities

• Work with the latest AWS technologies like Kubernetes (EKS), S3, Postgres, DocumentDB, and more.
• Manage our AWS production deployments (SaaS) running on AWS EKS.
• Design and develop tools for managing and applying DevOps principles, such as CI/CD automation and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) on our Cloud-based production systems.
• Work with the team to enhance production stability, availability, and reliability.
• Install, configure, update and troubleshoot our product microservices and tools including databases
• Design and manage different monitoring and observability tools for troubleshooting and resolving production issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant DevOps work experience in Production environments
• Strong working experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Drone, Jenkins, GitHub actions or similar)
• Strong IT background.
• A deep understanding and familiarity with:
• Networking: K8S ingress, services, and Load Balancers
• AWS services, EKS, Postgres, S3, Mongo, SES, SNS, SQS.
• Experience in automated deployment and infrastructure.
• Knowledge and experience with alerting and monitoring tools.
• Additional programming languages like NodeJS - An advantage
• Results-driven with strong commitment to complete tasks

• Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.
• Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion.
• Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
