Planck Technologies, based in Lisbon, seeks a seasoned DevOps Engineer with strong Java development and cloud experience. You will build scalable, secure microservices and streamline deployment pipelines using CI/CD in AWS.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on Java Spring Boot expertise, RESTful service design, and a collaborative, consulting mindset. Fluency in English and Scrum familiarity are essential for delivering value to clients.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong Java development expertise.
• Hands-on with Java Spring Boot and Spring Batch is a plus.
• Solid experience with microservices, RESTful services, and API integrations.
• Proficiency with AWS, CI/CD, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Fluent English; Scrum knowledge; degree in CS.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a key DevOps consultant and developer, delivering high-quality solutions from day one.
• Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient solutions using Java Spring Boot and microservices.
• Design and implement robust architectures aligned with technical and business needs.
• Support and optimize development and deployment pipelines, applying CI/CD best practices.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of development and deployment processes.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders, providing technical guidance and consultancy.
• Apply best practices in automated testing, code quality, monitoring, and observability.
• Contribute to the delivery of reliable and efficient cloud-based solutions within AWS environments.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong Java development expertise;
• Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, with Spring Batch being a strong advantage;
• Solid experience developing microservices, RESTful services, API integrations, and database-connected applications;
• Proficiency with AWS cloud environments and DevOps/CI-CD principles;
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps (ADO), automated testing, troubleshooting, monitoring/observability, caching, and message queuing;
• Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns, as well as Scrum methodology;
• Strong communication, consultancy, and collaboration skills, with a resilient, adaptable, and goal-oriented mindset;
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Reltio MDM solutions;
• Knowledge of DATA/BI environments;
• Familiarity with SonarQube and CheckmarxOne;
• Experience with GitHub Copilot.
