CodSec seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure in a hybrid Braga office. You’ll implement Infrastructure as Code, manage CI pipelines, and optimize deployments for our SecOps, AppSec, and AI-driven solutions.

You’ll work closely with security, engineering, and data teams to automate workflows, improve observability, and ensure resilient, high-performance cloud platforms. The role emphasizes production reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Experience with IaC using Terraform or Ansible.
• Proficient in Python, Go or Bash scripting.
• Strong CI/CD design, automation, and VCS integration.
• System administration and Linux production troubleshooting.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and containers.
• Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Role Description The DevOps Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure supporting CodSec’s SecOps, AppSec, and AI-driven solutions. This full-time role is based in Braga in a hybrid model, combining on-site collaboration with flexible work-from-home days. Daily responsibilities include implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code, maintaining CI pipelines, optimizing deployments, and ensuring reliable system administration across Linux environments. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with security, engineering, and data teams to automate workflows, improve observability, and enhance the resilience and performance of cloud-based platforms. The role also involves troubleshooting production issues, contributing to architecture decisions, and continuously improving operational practices and tooling.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, with experience using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, preferably in languages commonly used for DevOps (e.g., Python, Go, or Bash scripting).
• Candidates should possess experience with Continuous Integration and delivery, including pipeline design, automation, and integration with version control systems.
• Candidates should possess System Administration and Linux skills, including configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, or Azure) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
• Understanding of security best practices in CI/CD, infrastructure hardening, and secure software development workflows is a strong advantage.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in hybrid teams, communicate clearly, and document infrastructure and processes effectively.
