Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Deployments Support & Automation Engineer in Lisbon, Portugal, to manage release deployment for Self-Service products such as Kiosks and Auto Bag Drops. You will deploy releases across frontend, middleware and backend, perform pre/post-deployment checks, and collaborate with R&D for issue resolution.

The role blends deployment-focused work (70%) with automation (30%), including monitoring, scripting, and improvements to deployment pipelines, while supporting production

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years' experience in deployment, DevOps/SRE/Platform or application support.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in production environments.
• Good understanding of change management (ITIL) and working with RITMs and change requests.
• Scripting and automation for deployments and operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deploy R&D releases, upgrades and fixes for Self-Service products across frontend, middleware and backend components.
• Carry out pre-deployment checks and post-deployment verification before handover.
• Roll back deployments when needed and resolve deployment issues with R&D.
• Coordinate deployment windows with customers, sites and internal teams, including out-of-hours support.
