Jobgether in Portugal is seeking an infrastructure professional to operate and evolve reliable, secure, and scalable technology infrastructure. You will work hands-on with Linux systems, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation, combining day-to-day administration with automation initiatives.

You will contribute to monitoring, incident management, backup strategies, automated deployments, and IaC solutions, and collaborate across teams to improve visibility and reliability

Qualificações

• Experience with Red Hat and Oracle Linux environments.
• Hands-on Docker and advanced Kubernetes knowledge.
• Practical experience with CI/CD and automated software delivery processes.
• Experience using Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Proficiency with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Advanced Git skills in version-controlled infrastructure and configuration.
• Strong monitoring and observability expertise for infrastructure health.
• Experience with VMware products and virtualized infrastructures.
• Ability to write scripts and develop automation solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, investigate incidents, and drive timely resolution while maintaining clear technical documentation.
• Configure and improve monitoring and incident-management processes with monitoring specialists and other teams.
• Design and implement backup strategies to strengthen infrastructure resilience.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment processes and IaC to improve consistency and scalability.
• Build communication between departments to enable automated monitoring of core services.
• Review Grafana dashboards for data accuracy and drive continuous improvements.
• Administer VMware infrastructure and test new vendor implementations.
• Contribute to standards, automation initiatives, and infrastructure optimization projects.

Accountabilities

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, investigate incidents, and drive timely resolution while maintaining clear technical documentation.
• Configure and improve monitoring and incident-management processes in collaboration with monitoring specialists and other technical teams.
• Design and implement backup strategies that strengthen infrastructure resilience and support business continuity.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment processes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to improve consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Build effective communication and collaboration between departments to enable automated monitoring of critical core services.
• Review and validate the accuracy and quality of data presented in Grafana dashboards, identifying discrepancies and supporting continuous improvements.
• Administer VMware infrastructure, including testing new vendor implementations and enhancing existing solutions.
• Contribute to technical standards, documentation, automation initiatives, and infrastructure optimization projects.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of system administration, particularly Red Hat and Oracle Linux environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and advanced knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools and automated software delivery processes.
• Experience using Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Advanced Git skills and experience working effectively with version-controlled infrastructure and configuration.
• Strong monitoring expertise and an understanding of infrastructure observability and operational health.
• Experience working with VMware products and virtualized infrastructure environments.
• Ability to write scripts and develop automation solutions using appropriate programming or scripting languages.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
