Job summary

Vestas is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to guide a team of developers building reliable, scalable applications and backend services using C# and .NET. You will combine development with technical leadership and planning responsibility, influencing delivery and long-term evolution of systems.

The role requires strong Python scripting skills, familiarity with containerization, CI/CD, and automated testing, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years as a C# .NET Developer or in a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of C#, .NET and Test frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, ASP.NET, WPF)
• Familiarity with database technologies like SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks
• Good English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ownership: Takes initiative to identify and address potential problems
