Frezite High Performance (FHP) in Porto, Portugal seeks a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering advanced space hardware. You will perform structural and thermal analyses, run engineering calculations, and coordinate manufacturing and validation activities on international projects.

A Master’s degree and at least 2 years of product development experience are required. Proficiency with CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks) and familiarity with NX

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engineering projects for highly technical equipment and systems;
• Perform structural and thermal analyses, engineering calculations and validate technical solutions;
• Plan, coordinate and monitor manufacturing, testing and product validation activities, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and project schedules;
• Prepare technical documentation, present engineering results to customers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on international projects.

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or a related field;
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in product development or a similar engineering role (preferred);
• Knowledge of structural and thermal analysis;
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and solve complex technical challenges;
• Experience with CAD software, Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks;
• Knowledge of NX Nastran or other finite element analysis software (preferred);
• Knowledge of ESA ECSS standards (preferred);
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;
• English proficiency (B2 level or above) - mandatory;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines;
• Availability for occasional international travel, mainly within Europe.
