Edge Shore Co is seeking a Developer to ship production-grade web apps, integrations and geospatial tooling for clients across Cyber Risk, AI and Technology consulting. You will work across the stack—from React frontends to Postgres databases and GIS pipelines—collaborating with consulting and research teams.

You will use AI coding assistants like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot/Codex and Lovable to move faster without sacrificing quality, security or maintainability.

Qualificações

• Proven experience with Next.js, React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Copilot/Codex, Lovable).
• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge, incl. schema design and indexing.
• Experience with Supabase, AWS Amplify or Firebase for auth/storage/serverless.
• Familiarity with Payload CMS or similar headless CMS.

As a Developer you will ship production-grade web applications, integrations and geospatial tooling for our clients across Cyber Risk, AI and Technology consulting. You will leverage AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot / Codex and Lovable to move faster without sacrificing quality, security or maintainability. You will work across the stack — from React frontends and serverless backends to Postgres databases and GIS pipelines — in close collaboration with our consulting and research teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain full-stack web applications using Next.js, React and modern TypeScript tooling.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, Lovable) to accelerate development, testing and documentation.
• Architect and query PostgreSQL databases, including PostGIS extensions for geospatial workloads.
• Integrate backend platforms such as Supabase, AWS Amplify and Firebase into client solutions.
• Develop and maintain CMS-driven experiences, including Payload CMS configurations and custom content models.
• Build, visualise and analyse GIS datasets using QGIS, ArcGIS and open-source geospatial libraries.
• Follow secure coding practices, code review and version control workflows on every deliverable.

Requirements

• Proven experience building web applications with Next.js, React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot / Codex or Lovable.
• Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing and performance basics.
• Experience with Supabase, AWS Amplify or Firebase for authentication, storage and serverless backends.
• Familiarity with headless CMS platforms, ideally Payload CMS or equivalent.
• Comfortable with GIS concepts and tools such as PostGIS, QGIS or ArcGIS.
• Experience deploying to or integrating with edge platforms such as Cloudflare Workers, Pages or R2.
• Solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, Git workflows and CI/CD basics.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of telecommunications network design, especially FTTH planning and fibre topology.
• Experience with geospatial data pipelines, tiling services or web mapping libraries.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure on AWS, including Amplify, Lambda and S3.
• Experience building cross-platform native mobile apps with Expo (React Native).
• Familiarity with secure software development, OWASP principles and regulated client environments.
• Previous consulting or client-facing delivery experience.

Compensation

Positioning within the salary range will be determined based on objective criteria, including relevant professional experience, technical expertise, academic qualifications, project portfolio, and the responsibilities associated with the position.
