iCapital is seeking a systems thinker with strong visual design skills to design, build, and maintain reusable design system foundations and components, ensuring accessible, high‑quality user experiences.

You will partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to identify reusable opportunities and evolve the design system to support emerging product needs, including evolving AI infrastructure and adoption across teams.

About the Role

We are looking for a systems thinker with strong visual design skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for creating scalable experiences. Responsibilities

• Design, build, andmaintainreusable design system foundations, components, patterns, templates, and documentation that enable consistent, accessible, high-quality user experiences.
• Contribute to evolving the design system into AI infrastructure.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams toidentifyreusable opportunities and evolve the design system to support emerging product needs.
• Review and guide design system contributions from product designers, ensuring a high standard of quality.
• Champion the design system by educating and enabling teams, driving adoption, gathering feedback, and continuously improving the system.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design, including at least 2 years of dedicated, hands‑on experience designing and evolving design systems.
• Proven experience building andmaintainingdesign systems, witha track recordof solving complex design challenges through scalable solutions.
• Strong visual and UI design skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Expert-levelproficiencyin Figma, including library management, complexcomponentarchitecture, and variables.
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to translate product needs into reusable patterns and scalable solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across Design, Engineering, and Product teams.
• Experience collaborating with engineers to bring design system components from concept to implementation. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Git, and Visual Studio Code is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• A strong portfoliodemonstratingyour design process, problem‑solving approach, outcomes, and measurable impact isrequired.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing accessible experiences and familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with motion design and interaction design.
