Dellent is seeking a Backend Developer (Java) for a long-term hybrid role in Lisbon or Porto. You will contribute to Java backend developments using Spring Boot, design solutions with AWS and microservices, and participate in frontend work if required.

You will deliver in agile sprints, align with Product Owner and team backlog, and implement DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines. English proficiency is required, and travel onsite two days weekly may be needed.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Java development with Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Microservices architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization/orchestration.
• Frontend experience with React.js or Angular is a plus.
• English proficiency (B2+) required; willingness to travel and onsite 2 days per week.

Here you will work in the development of high-tech systems integration services in areas such as digital transformation and network automation for different sectors of activity, but in particular for telecommunications.

We are looking for an Backend Developer (Java) for a long term role in this hybrid project in Lisbon or Porto.

As a part of your job, you will

• Java backend developments (Spring Boot);
• Solution designs using AWS and microservices;
• Frontend development activities, if required;
• Delivering using agile practices, in sprints and in accordance with the Product Owner and team’s backlog and sprint stories;
• Deploying using DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development and proficiency in the latest editions of Java, including expertise in Spring Boot;
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Microservices architecture, and design patterns;
• Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes;
• Experience in frontend technologies like React.js or Angular is a strong plus;
• Experience in NodeJs and PostgreSQL database is a plus;
• Solid grasp of security best practices related to APIs and data privacy;
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and a commitment to driving Agile practices within the team;
• Comfortable with DevOps practices involving configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, IaC, deployment patterns among others;
• Proficiency in English (B2+) is a must;
• Availability to work onsite 2 days per week, in Lisbon or Oporto.
