DataSmart seeks an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join a hybrid role in the Oeiras area. You will administer Oracle databases, ensure performance and security, and automate backup/recovery with RMAN while maintaining Data Guard/ASM setups.

Ideal candidates have strong Linux/AIX experience, OEM monitoring, and proficiency with Data Pump and EXP utilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and incident management via ServiceNow are required.

Qualificações

• Proven Oracle DBA with hands-on experience in 9i, 10g, 11g and 12c.
• Strong Linux and AIX administration skills.
• Hands-on RMAN backup and recovery and automation.
• Experience with EXP and Data Pump utilities.
• Familiar with RAC, Data Guard, ASM and OEM.
• Experience using ServiceNow for incidents and changes.
• Ability to document technical processes and collaborate with teams.

• Manage backup/recovery using RMAN and automation.
• Perform schema/table/database refreshes using EXP and Data Pump.

• Monitor environments with OEM and address incidents and performance issues.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Development, and Operations teams.
• Handle requests and changes via ServiceNow.
• Apply best practices for security and business continuity.
• Contribute to automation and technical documentation.

What You'll Do:

• Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle databases, including versions 9i, 10g, 11g, and 12c.
• Ensure the availability, performance, security, and integrity of Oracle database environments.
• Manage and automate backup and recovery processes using Oracle RMAN.
• Perform schema, table, and database refresh operations using EXP and Data Pump.
• Manage Oracle Single Instance, RAC, Data Guard/Standby, and ASM environments.
• Proactively monitor Oracle environments using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Identify and resolve database incidents, problems, and performance issues.
• Perform performance tuning and database optimization.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Development, and Operations teams to ensure system stability.
• Manage requests, incidents, and changes through ServiceNow.
• Implement database administration, security, and business continuity best practices.
• Contribute to automation, technical documentation, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven professional experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA).
• Strong experience administering Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g, and 12c.
• Knowledge of Linux and AIX operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RMAN, including backup, recovery, and automation.
• Practical experience with EXP and Oracle Data Pump.
• Experience managing Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and Single Instance environments.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Experience using ServiceNow for incident, request, and change management.
• Strong knowledge of database monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
• Oracle certifications are considered a plus.
• Experience working in large-scale, business-critical environments is valued.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation is a plus.
• Ability to produce technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.
