DataSmart in Portugal is seeking an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments across on-premises and Microsoft Azure. You will manage lifecycle, upgrades, migrations, and ensure high availability, security, and performance of databases.

The role requires 5+ years of experience with large-scale SQL Server infrastructures, SQL Server tuning, backup/recovery, and proficiency with SSIS/SSRS/SSAS.

Qualificações

• 5+ years as SQL Server Database Administrator.
• Experience with large-scale mission-critical SQL Server infrastructures.
• Strong knowledge of installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on with T-SQL, performance tuning, indexing, statistics management, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, replication, and high availability solutions.
• SSIS, SSRS, SSAS experience valued.
• Security, logins, roles, permissions, auditing.

Responsabilidades

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain SQL Server environments on-premises and Azure.
• Manage SQL Server instances lifecycle, upgrades, patching, migrations.
• Administer development, testing, QA, and production environments for high availability and performance.
• Implement backup, restore, DR, and BC strategies.
• Monitor and optimize performance via tuning, indexing, and plan analysis.
• Manage SQL Server Agent jobs, storage, and capacity planning.
• Perform migrations across SQL Server versions and hybrid cloud environments.
• Support SSIS/SSRS/SSAS deployments and operations.
• Collaborate with dev, BI, infra, and support teams for reliable DB services.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver scalable DB solutions.
