Job summary

Ankix in Lisbon is seeking a seasoned datacenter infrastructure engineer to manage enterprise environments with a focus on automation, scripting, and IaC. The role requires strong VMware/Hyper-V experience, Linux and Windows proficiency, and knowledge of Cisco/Fortinet, Dell/Huawei/SAN solutions.

You will work in a multi-tenant, high-availability setting with opportunities for professional growth. Salary is €30,000–€40,000 gross per year, with benefits and training platforms.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Datacenter infrastructure, Private Cloud or Enterprise environments.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet or equivalent technologies.
• Strong experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of Dell, Huawei, SAN Switching or equivalent solutions.
• Experience with tools such as Veeam, Dell Avamar or similar.
• Strong command of Linux and Windows Server.
• Experience with high-availability, mission-critical and multi-tenant architectures.
• Practical experience in automation, scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
• Technical Certifications including VMware, Cisco, Fortinet, Cloud, ITIL, Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Python and Git.
