Database Administrator in Funchal, Portugal

We are hiring a skilled Database Administrator to manage and maintain our company's database systems in Funchal, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, availability, and performance of our databases. You will also be involved in database design and optimization, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise.

As a Database Administrator, you should have experience working with various database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

You should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve any potential issues. Knowledge of database security protocols and data backup procedures is also essential.

The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator or similar role. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is also preferred. Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.

This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month. Accommodation will be provided by the company and we will also cover the cost of your visa and ticket to Funchal if needed.
