A leading technology company in Funchal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As the Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's databases. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1600$ per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain efficient database structures to support company operations
• Monitor database performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
• Identify and troubleshoot database issues in a timely manner
• Develop and implement data backup and recovery plans
• Collaborate with application developers to ensure data integrity and security
• Create user access permissions and maintain user accounts
• Develop and maintain documentation for all database processes and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Experience with database design, development, maintenance, and performance tuning
• Experience with data backup/recovery techniques
