Overview

As a Database Administrator you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company’s databases. You will work closely with our development and support teams to ensure our databases are properly designed, implemented, and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade database software.
• Maintain and troubleshoot database issues, and optimize database performance.
• Handle data backups, disaster recovery planning, and database security.
• Collaborate with development and support teams to design, implement, and maintain databases.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
• Experience with MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of database design principles and query optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of international data protection laws highly desirable.
• Experience with cloud-based databases and virtual environments a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
