Woopel is seeking a Database Administrator to design, implement and maintain our databases, ensuring performance and security while collaborating with the IT team.

The role requires strong DBMS knowledge (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server), backups, recovery, and independent troubleshooting, with a bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; location is Almada, Portugal, with a contract and negotiable salary.

Qualificações

• Experience as a Database Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of DBMS including MySQL, Oracle and SQL Server.
• Experience with backups, recovery and security protocols.
• Proficiency in SQL and Java programming.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

As a Database Administrator you will be responsible for the performance integrity and security of our companys databases You will work closely with the IT team to ensure that our databases are running smoothly and efficiently Your main duties will include designing implementing and maintaining database systems as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise You must have a strong understanding of database management systems and be able to work independently

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of database management systems MySQL Oracle SQL Server
• Experience with data backup recovery and security protocols
• Familiarity with programming languages SQL Java
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently
• Excellent analytical skills
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant field

Salary $1700month negotiable based on experience

Location Almada Portugal
