Job summary

Damia is recruiting a Senior Consultant to join its Data and AI team in Lisbon, Portugal. The role focuses on designing and delivering AI solutions, conducting pre-sales activities, and mentoring junior staff in a consulting setting.

The candidate will lead end-to-end AI architectures, translate business needs into scalable technical systems, and ensure security by design while staying current with GenAI trends. This is a full-time, client-facing role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Technical Architecture roles with AI exposure.
• Bachelor's degree or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Informatics, Data Science.
• Microsoft Certification: Azure AI Engineer or Azure Data Scientist Associate is a plus.
• Experience building AI products using LLMs, embeddings or other natural language technologies, particularly leveraging Vector Search.
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases and semantic search.
• Knowledge of LLM integration, prompt engineering, guardrails and AI observability.
• Understanding of AI governance, security and responsible AI principles.
• Knowledge of secure architecture (identity, access, secrets management).

Their senior consultants work on billable engagements to design, develop and implement solutions by using standard or new methods, techniques and top IT Tech solutions, consistently delivering high client value. This senior consultant will work on our Data and Artificial Intelligence team, analyzing, creating and implementing new technical and business solutions, developing pre-sales and project management activities as well as mentoring team members. This role will be part of a technology consultancy team with vast mission-critical application experience, working with major clients in different sectors.
