TP is seeking a Data Scientist to embed in our HR team, applying machine learning and advanced analytics to workforce data. You will build predictive models and self-service analytics on Databricks to help HR leaders make evidence-based people decisions while upholding privacy and ethics.

You will develop models and dashboards, translate HR questions into data-driven insights, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders with clear, actionable outputs.

Qualificações

• 4+ years as a Data Scientist or in an analytics/ML role, ideally with HR or people analytics experience.
• Strong Python, pandas and scikit-learn for analysis and modelling.
• Hands-on Databricks experience with notebooks, MLflow and Delta Lake.

We're hiring a Data Scientist to embed within our HR team and apply machine learning and advanced analytics to workforce data. You'll build predictive models and self-service analytics products on Databricks that help HR leaders make evidence-based people decisions — while holding a high bar for privacy, ethics and fairness in how sensitive employee data is used.

What you'll do

• Build and validate statistical and machine learning models across attrition prediction, workforce forecasting, time-to-hire and engagement drivers
• Develop feature pipelines, model training and inference workflows using Databricks, MLflow and Delta Lake
• Translate HR business questions into well-defined data science problems with measurable success criteria and communicate results and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
• Deliver Databricks Dashboards, Databricks Apps and Genie rooms that put workforce insight directly in the hands of HR leaders
• Apply privacy, ethics and governance safeguards to employee data — anonymisation, access controls, fairness and bias analysis
• Monitor deployed models for drift, performance and fairness, and iterate as workforce dynamics shift

What you'll bring

• 4+ years as a Data Scientist or in an applied analytics/ML role, ideally with HR, people analytics or workforce data
• Strong Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and SQL for analysis and modelling
• Hands-on Databricks experience — notebooks, MLflow, Delta Lake — or a comparable cloud data science platform
• Solid grounding in statistics, experimental design (A/B testing), and classification, regression, clustering and survival analysis
• Experience handling PII and sensitive data with appropriate privacy and ethical safeguards
• Excellent communication and the discretion, integrity and judgement that confidential people data demands
• Nice to have: Experience with HR systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or BambooHR; Experience with Databricks Genie, Dashboards, and Apps; Knowledge of Power BI, GDPR, explainable AI, and bias mitigation techniques; Experience using AI-assisted development tools and building self-service analytics solutions.
