JobCopilot is seeking a Data Scientist with a growth mindset to turn data and AI into measurable business value. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data science and AI use cases, design and deploy advanced analytics, and promote responsible AI practices.

You will translate business needs into scalable data products, MVPs, and AI-enabled solutions, leveraging cloud platforms to drive performance and governance across the organization. Hybrid work model offered.

Formación

• 3+ years in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, ML, AI, BI or related fields.
• Hands-on analytics lifecycle experience: exploration, prep, feature engineering, modeling, validation, deployment, monitoring, value measurement.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI copilots, prompt engineering, RAG.
• Strong Python and/or R, with SQL and modern data science libraries.
• Ability to translate business needs into analytical/AI solutions and manage stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver data science, segmentation and AI use cases that generate measurable business value.
• Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytics, machine learning, GenAI, and predictive solutions to solve critical business challenges.
• Translate complex business needs into scalable data products, insights, models, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Act as an AI enabler by promoting adoption of AI technologies, educating stakeholders, facilitating experimentation, and driving responsible AI practices.
• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept, and minimum viable products (MVPs) to accelerate innovation and validate business opportunities.
• Leverage modern data platforms, cloud technologies, machine learning frameworks, and generative AI capabilities to improve efficiency and effectiveness across business processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data teams, commercial functions, and business leaders to ensure solutions are sustainable, scalable, and aligned with strategic priorities.
• Communicate analytical findings and AI opportunities clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, enabling informed decision-making.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, experimentation, and innovation across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, security, and responsible AI standards.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Business Intelligence, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience across the end-to-end analytics lifecycle, including data exploration, preparation, feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and value measurement.
• Experience with Generative AI technologies, large language models (LLMs), AI copilots, AI agents, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or similar emerging AI capabilities.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R, with experience in SQL and modern data science frameworks and libraries.
• Experience translating business opportunities into analytical and AI solutions while managing stakeholder expectations and driving adoption.
• Consulting, communication, and change management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
• Experience identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing innovation opportunities using data automation and AI technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud analytics environments and AI platforms (Azure, Databricks, AWS, GCP, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams and lead initiatives that drive organizational change and capability building.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
