A data consulting firm in Lisbon is looking for a Data Scientist to develop end-to-end data science projects, from data cleaning to model building. The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science or related fields, strong algorithmic thinking, and proficiency in Python or R. Familiarity with big data frameworks is a plus. This role offers a chance to work closely with clients and provide tailored solutions.

Qualificações

• University degree in Computer Science, Applied sciences, Maths, or Statistics.
• Understanding of predictive modelling and machine learning techniques.
• Strong programming skills with Python, R, or SQL.

Responsabilidades

• Develop end-to-end data science projects based on project needs.

YOUR MISSION To work closely with clients, to understand their needs, and offer the best solution following the best practices.

Responsibilities

• Depending on the project Develop end-to-end data science projects (with or without Data Robot).
• Understand the business, get/explore/clean the data, build features and machine learning models, design experiments (A/B testing) and result from analysis and visualization.

Qualifications & Skills

• University’s degree in Computer Science, Applied sciences, Maths or statistics.
• Understanding of predictive modelling and machine learning approaches such as clustering, classification, and regression techniques.
• Strong algorithmic thinking and programming skills.
• Knowledge of data visualization concepts and technologies.
• Technical expertise in Python / R / SAS Miner, SQL.
• Consider a plus: Familiarity with big data and distributed computing frameworks (Spark/Storm/Flink, HDFS, Hadoop, HBase).
