Job summary

PrimeGlobal is seeking a Data Mining Analyst in Porto, Portugal. You will gather and analyze large data sets to uncover patterns, trends and insights that guide business decisions. Freshers are welcome and accommodation is provided.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply clustering, regression and decision-tree methods, and translate findings into clear reports and visuals using Tableau or Power BI. Strong SQL or Python (or R) skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data-related field or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in SQL or Python or R for data manipulation.
• Knowledge of data mining techniques such as clustering, regression, decision trees.
• Familiarity with probability distributions and hypothesis testing.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas through reports or visuals.
