Data Mining Analyst

We are in search of a skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Porto, Portugal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and be able to gather, organize, and interpret large sets of data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize various data mining techniques to collect and analyze large datasets
• Develop and implement data cleaning processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data
• Identify patterns and trends within the data to provide insights for decision making
• Collaborate with other team members to identify key business questions and develop strategies for obtaining relevant data
• Communicate findings through clear visualizations and reports that can be easily understood by non-technical stakeholders
• Continuously monitor data quality and make recommendations for process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and analytical methods
• Proficient in SQL, Python or R for data querying, manipulation, and analysis
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month.

This is a full-time position with standard working hours. Due to the current climate, remote work may be possible but occasional on-site presence may be required.
