Data Mining Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Almada. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends and insights that can be used to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and organizing large sets of data from various sources
• Performing data mining techniques such as clustering, regression analysis, and decision trees to identify patterns and trends
• Utilizing statistical tools and methods to analyze the data
• Creating reports and visualizations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide recommendations based on data analysis
• Monitoring data quality and identifying areas for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
• Proven experience in data mining, analysis, and visualization techniques
• Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R
• Familiarity with statistical tools such as SPSS or SAS
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner

This is a part-time position with a salary of $900 per month. Candidates must have a biometric passport allowing them to work legally in Almada without requiring accommodation.
