We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics Specialist to join our team in Almada.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and a passion for uncovering insights and trends from large datasets.

This role offers a salary of 1500$ per month without accommodation and includes visa sponsorship for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities

• Collect clean and organize large datasets from various sources
• Use statistical methods to analyze data and identify patterns and trends
• Create visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions for business challenges
• Continuously monitor data quality and proactively identify areas for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases
• Proficiency in at least one programming language Python, R, etc.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Familiarity with statistical analysis methods regression, clustering, etc.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in a related field
• Experience working with big data technologies Hadoop, Spark, etc.
• Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive modeling
• Experience with ETL processes and tools
