Metyis is seeking a Data Governance Lead in Porto to drive practical governance across client engagements. You will partner with business and IT, define ownership models, and implement tangible governance outcomes while advancing the firm’s data-centric strategy.

The role emphasizes collaboration with analytics, architecture, privacy, and consulting teams, with opportunities to grow into broader leadership within a fast‑growing, international team.

Qualificações

• 5-8 years of experience in data governance
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to turn ambiguous governance needs into concrete plans
• Experience working with data platforms and governance concepts
• Familiarity with data protection principles (GDPR) preferred

Responsabilidades

• Lead data governance initiatives and embed practical governance in client environments
• Identify stakeholders, governance gaps, and ownership models (Data Owners, Stewards, Custodians)
• Facilitate workshops to align business and IT on ownership and decision rights
• Create reusable governance templates, playbooks, and accelerators for multiple clients
• Collaborate with data, analytics, architecture, privacy, and consulting teams
• Drive measurable business value through data governance across industries
