Job summary

Ocean Infinity is seeking a Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines and automation, transforming complex workflows into reliable production systems. You will collaborate with data analysts, product teams, and AI engineers to deliver curated datasets powering analytics and AI initiatives across the company.

The role focuses on Python-based processing, data validation, and end-to-end data orchestration in cloud environments, with emphasis on code quality and automation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Backend Engineer, or Software Engineer working with data pipelines.
• Strong Python coding and automation skills.
• Solid SQL and data analytics experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with data lake/lakehouse concepts and Bronze/Silver/Gold patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable data pipelines to automate data processes and improve reliability.
• Build end-to-end data transformation workflows (Bronze → Silver → Gold).
• Create Python-based data processing solutions for ingestion, transformation and delivery.
• Implement data integration from databases, external APIs, and streaming sources.
• Develop data quality checks, validation rules, and testing frameworks.
• Build backend data services and lightweight APIs for analytics tools.
• Collaborate with analysts, product teams, and AI engineers to meet data needs.
• Refactor pipelines for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Follow CI/CD, version control, and documentation practices.
