Job summary

Continental is seeking a Data Engineer to join Digital Solutions and build scalable data platforms powering AI-driven services for our global fleet customers. You will design and maintain data pipelines for real-time and batch IoT/telematics data, collaborating with data scientists and MLOps engineers.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with big data and distributed processing frameworks (Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Kafka, DBT).
• Familiarity with data modeling and databases (relational, NoSQL, time-series).
• Experience with Agile project management methods (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience working in an international team (desirable).
• Proficient English language skills (spoken / written).

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in building and optimizing data platforms and pipelines that power AI-driven solutions for our global fleet customers.

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructures, ensuring seamless integration of IoT and telematics data from connected tires and vehicles. Working closely with Data Scientists, MLOps Engineers, and cross-functional teams, you will enable advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities that enhance safety, reduce costs, and extend tire lifecycle.

• Familiarity with data versioning and lineage tracking;
• Experience with Agile project management methods (Scrum, Kanban);
• Experience working in an international team (desirable);
• Reliable team player with structured self-organized workstyle;
• Proficient English language skills (spoken / written).
