WE ARE META is seeking a Data Engineer specialized in GCP and French language. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and related GCP services.

You will implement ETL/ELT, data modeling, and CI/CD for reliable deployments, while collaborating with recruiters to match opportunities. The candidate should have 6+ years of Data Engineer experience, strong Python skills, and fluency in French.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of Data Engineer experience.
• Proficient in Python with production-grade code, design patterns, testing, and packaging.
• Experienced building data pipelines, data lakes and data warehouses on GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Apache Beam, Dataproc, Pub/Sub).
• Strong data modeling skills (star, snowflake, normalization).
• Experience with ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing design.
• Experience with Airflow / Cloud Composer, Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to ML data prep, feature stores and MLOps principles.
• Familiar with testing practices (UAT, QA, data validation, test automation).
• French language fluency (C1).
• Hybrid work availability; based in Lisboa, Portugal.
• Portugal resident or EU work permit.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Collaborate with data scientists to prepare data for ML use cases and productionize models.
• Implement data governance, testing, and validation processes.
• Design and implement scalable data models and data warehouses.
