Job summary

Accenture Technology is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions in a dynamic, cloud-enabled environment. You will develop data pipelines, implement ETL/ELT processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable analytics and business decision-making.

You will work with Azure/AWS/GCP, apply data governance and security principles, and contribute to the continuous improvement of data platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or related technical roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, transformation, and automation.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and workflows.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and modern data integration patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, security, and compliance principles.
• Experience managing databases and ensuring data reliability and performance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
• Fluent in English (C1 or above), with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows for structured and unstructured data.
• Build reusable frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and optimization.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Python and SQL.

• Develop and maintain internal tools and applications to support data operations.
• Monitor data pipelines, data quality metrics, and system performance.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering processes and standards.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and data engineering best practices.
