Job summary

Loop Future is seeking an experienced Data Engineer in Porto to design and maintain modern data pipelines and reusable data products. You will work closely with Data Architecture, Business Analysis and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

You will handle data from SAP, Salesforce and external systems, ensuring quality, lineage and governance while optimizing for performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Deep knowledge of modern data architectures and data modelling.
• Strong experience with Python, PySpark and SQL across data pipelines.
• Hands-on Azure Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake Storage and Data Factory.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain data pipelines and transformations on Databricks and Synapse.
• Develop reusable, high-performance data products across bronze, silver and gold layers.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from diverse sources including SAP and Salesforce.
• Ensure data quality, lineage and governance with security standards.
• Optimise data processing for scalability, performance and cost.
