Volkswagen Group Digital Solutions [Portugal] is seeking a data engineering professional to design and implement robust data pipelines, storage, and processing architectures on Azure. You will manage data integration, modeling, ETL workflows and warehousing while ensuring scalability and security across cloud services.

You will leverage Azure Databricks, Spark, SQL and NoSQL technologies, contribute to data governance, and collaborate with teams to deliver analytics-ready datasets and BI content

Qualificações

• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Deep understanding of data architecture, security principles and best practices.
• Strong scripting skills (Python) for data manipulation and analysis.

You’ll be focused in

• Designing and implementing Data Pipelines, Data Storage and Data Processing solutions
• Managing Data Integration and Storage solutions
• Modelling data, handling ETL processes and Data Warehousing
• Developing and maintaining data architecture, ensuring scalability, security & availability
• Managing cloud-based data services, particularly Azure
• Implementing Data Governance

In order to succeed, you’ll need

• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing
• Strong experience with data technologies (e.g., Spark, Azure Databricks, SQL & NoSQL databases)
• Deep understanding of data architecture, security principles and best practices
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data manipulation and analysis
• Extensive experience with cloud-based data services, particularly in Azure
• Expertise in data governance frameworks and implementation
• Great English skills, both written and spoken.
