Job summary

GRiT is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team and build data driven applications and ETL pipelines. You’ll work with Python and AWS services to transform data into actionable insights while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes autonomy, proactive problem solving, and clear communication in a fast-paced, inclusive environment. A strong foundation in data engineering and cloud technologies is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as Data Engineer.
• Experience in data driven apps and ETL environments.
• Knowledge or experience with Python.
• Experience in AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, DBT, Spark.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL.
• Good organizational skills, autonomy and proactivity.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication.

Must-Have

• 2 years of experience working as Data Engineer
• Experience developing data driven applications and ETL environments
• Knowledge or experience with Python
• Experience in AWS cloud environments
• Experience with software tools such as AWS Glue, Amazon Athena, DBT, Spark
• Experience with SQL, noSQL
• Good organizational skills, autonomy and proactivity
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Would Be Great If You Have

• Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or similar
• Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies
• Experience in Power BI
