We are looking for an AWS Data Engineer with fluency in English to join a remote project.

Experience

• 5+ years in data engineering: They want someone experienced in building and maintaining data warehouses (structured storage for analytics) or data lakes (storage for large volumes of raw or semi-structured data).
• 2+ years working with AWS data services: Hands-on experience with AWS-specific tools, not just general cloud knowledge.

Technical Skills

• Python: Must be very comfortable coding in Python, used for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), data processing, and automation.
• AWS Data Services:
• Storage: S3 – store and organize data, foundation for a data lake.
• Compute: AWS Glue, AWS Lambda – process, transform, and clean data.
• SQL: Strong skills for querying, manipulating, and optimizing datasets.
• Data Formats: Comfortable working with Parquet, ORC, CSV, JSON, Avro.
• Version Control: Git – understand branching, merging, and collaborative workflows.
