Luxclusif, part of Farfetch, is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Porto team. You will design and build data services, collaborate with analysts and engineers, and develop scalable pipelines to enable advanced analytics and competitiveness.

The role emphasizes big-data ETLs, cloud environments, and proactive use of AI tools, with an on-site Porto office and a dynamic tech culture. Fluency in English is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent training.
• Minimum of 5 years in data engineering, building production data products.
• Experience designing big-data ETLs and data pipelines; CI/CD and cloud experience.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration with analytics and engineering teams.

THE TEAM

Our Tech Team is responsible for designing, developing, and evolving the internal products that power our business. As a B2B company specialising in second-hand luxury items, we rely on technology to optimise every stage of our operations, from buying and inbound logistics to selling and post-sales support. We are a global team with members across Portugal, Brazil, and the Philippines.

THE ROLE

The Data Engineer will be part of our Data cluster, responsible for the developmentofstrategic data products to enable company competitiveness and analytical insightscollaborating closer with R&D Products line. We're looking for a team player that ispassionate about tech products and is looking for eager opportunities to grow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Collaboratively design, build, and maintain services within our platform.
• Working closely with our Data Analysts and Software Engineering teams in highly impactful and complex challenges. Design, Build and Expand our data products, taking them to the next level while using state-of-the-art technologies.
• Collaborate with our Data Analysts and Software Engineering teams to deliver efficient data products.
• Design and develop scalable and performance oriented services with a strong emphasis on algorithmic design and scalability.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have a Computer Science, Information Systems degree or equivalentspecialized training/certification.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in the role or similar and proven experience with data engineering environments, building and architecture production-level data products.
• You're capable to design, model and develop big-data ETLs and orchestration is not a problem for you and you're also comfortable speaking English.
• Critical thinking and problem solving to design, build and maintain reliable and sustainable data pipelines.
• Proactive mindset regarding AI tools and solutions with high impact for thebusiness and productivity.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud environments.
