Prime Nearshore is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join an international banking project. You will design, develop and evolve enterprise data platforms, building robust data pipelines and supporting strategic data initiatives across the organization.

You will work within a multicultural environment, collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Business stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.

Qualificações

• Solid experience as a Data Engineer with data warehouse concepts.

• Design and implement performant data pipelines handling large data volumes.

About the Project

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join an international project within the Banking sector.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of enterprise data platforms, building robust data pipelines and supporting strategic data initiatives across the organization.

You will work within a multicultural environment, collaborating with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Business stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing and implementing performant data pipelines capable of handling large volumes of data.

You will contribute to the development and maintenance of Data Warehouse solutions, supporting business initiatives such as Management Reporting, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Regulatory Reporting, Financial Reporting, and application data integrations.

You will work on data modeling activities, data transformations, quality improvements, and continuous optimization of data workflows.

You will collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements, solve complex technical challenges, and ensure data solutions meet governance and performance standards.

Your Profile

You have solid experience as a Data Engineer, with strong knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and enterprise data environments.

You are autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working in complex environments where collaboration, problem-solving, and technical ownership are essential.

You have experience designing scalable data solutions and working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Strong SQL skills and expertise in data modeling concepts are highly valued.

Nice to Have

Experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector is considered a plus.

Knowledge of additional data governance, cloud, or enterprise data platform technologies will also be valued.
