Job summary

Tech & Beyond Solutions Lda is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to join our Data Team in a hybrid role based in Matosinhos, Portugal. You will develop Power BI dashboards, optimise SQL queries, and use Python to automate data processes, delivering reliable insights for business stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Data Analysts and product teams to enhance reporting tools and data ecosystems. A hands-on, ownership-driven mindset is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in Data Analytics, BI or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI including dashboard and report development.
• Strong SQL Server and SQL/T-SQL skills including complex queries and data manipulation.
• Proficient in Python for data processing or automation.
• Knowledge of data modelling, transformation and data quality principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good command of English (B2 level or above).
• Able to work in a hybrid model with at least one day per week in Matosinhos office.

Responsibilities

• Power BI development: create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports.
• Develop, maintain and optimise SQL/T-SQL queries for data accuracy and performance.
• Translate business requirements into metrics, reports and visualisations.
• Develop Python scripts to automate tasks and data workflows.
• Support data preparation, transformation, validation and quality checks.
• Maintain and improve BI solutions and ETL/ELT pipelines as needed.
• Collaborate with business users and development teams to deliver data solutions.
• Review SQL scripts and promote better coding practices.
