Retail Consult is seeking a Data Analytics Consultant to join our Delivery team in Porto, Portugal. You will help implement Analytics, BI and AI solutions for large retail transformation programs and design data architectures with KPIs, metrics and workflows.

You will guide clients in BI platforms, participate in cross-functional workshops, ensure data governance, and coordinate the technical team to deliver the project scope. Fluent English and travel flexibility are required.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of BI/Analytics experience.
• Experience as system integrator (SI) in BI implementations.
• Ability to guide and support clients in BI platforms.
• Understanding of business processes supported by BI/Analytics solutions.
• Willingness to travel.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in the implementation of Analytics, BI and AI solutions as cornerstone of large transformation programs in Retail.
• Prepare and run workshops with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design data architectures with KPIs, metrics and workflows.
• Implement data governance addressing security, privacy and compliance.
• Implement solutions including Oracle Retail Insights with Power BI/Tableau/Looker.
• Draft technical specifications and coordinate development teams to build components.
• Support Go-live, stabilization and user training to maximize BI/AI value.

What You'll Be Doing

• Participate in the implementation of Analytics, BI and AI solutions as cornerstones of large transformation programs in Retail;


• Preparation and execution of workshops with cross-functional teams to gather Analytical and Reporting requirements and design optimal data architecture solutions according to business processes, including KPIs, Metrics and Workflows;


• Implement data governance strategies addressing security, privacy, and compliance;


• Implement solutions that typically include Oracle Retail Insights in a combination of other market-leader Analytics platforms such as MS Power BI, Tableau (Salesforce), Looker, etc;


• Elaborate the technical specifications for the components to be developed to fulfill the identified requirements, in alignment with the established architecture;


• Coordinate, from a technical perspective, the development team responsible to build the specified components;


• Support the solution Go-live preparation, execution, and stabilization.


• Provide training and guidance to end-users, empowering clients to maximize the value of BI and AI tools;

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in BI and Analytics best practices (+5 years);


• Experience as a System Integrator (SI) in BI implementations;


• Strong ability to guide and support clients in the use and adoption of BI platforms;


• Exposure to and understanding of business processes supported by BI/Analytics solutions;


• Availability to travel;


• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

What Would Be a Plus

• Degree in Business, Management, or Engineering-related fields;


• Experience in Retail;


• Experience with Oracle Retail Insights;


• Proficiency in Spanish, French or German.
