Job summary

Siemens Mobility is looking for a Data Analyst Trainee (m/f/d) to join our team. You will profile and validate data products, investigate data quality issues, and maintain data product documentation.

You will work with stakeholders to capture requirements and define KPIs, and you will support data engineers with specs and sample queries. You should hold a STEM degree and be fluent in Portuguese and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM field (CS or EE).
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Interest in AI prompting and AI/ML concepts.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Profile and validate data products for completeness, consistency, freshness and fitness for use.
• Investigate data quality issues and document root causes and fixes.
• Maintain data product documentation: definitions, glossary terms, lineage, owners and SLAs.
• Gather user feedback and translate into backlog items with clear acceptance criteria.
• Work with stakeholders to capture requirements and define KPIs.
• Explore source data, propose data models and prototype datasets or dashboards.
• Support data engineers with specs, test cases and sample queries.
• Prepare data for AI/ML use cases including feature exploration and labelling checks.
• Apply data governance and information security rules to every product touched.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
