Siemens Mobility is seeking a Data Analyst Trainee to join the team in Portugal. You will profile and validate data products, investigate data quality, maintain documentation, and translate user feedback into actionable backlog items.

You will collaborate with Project Management, Engineering and Customer Service to define KPIs and support data engineers in building pipelines and AI/ML datasets. The role offers a flexible working model, health insurance and access to Siemens Learning Platforms.

Qualificações

• Degree in a STEM field (Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
• Interest in AI prompting.
• Strong interest in AI, software business, strategy, and management.
• Analytical thinking with ability to structure complex information clearly.
• Proactive, curious, and able to contribute ideas.
• Enjoy preparing presentations, summaries, analyses and decision-support material.

Responsabilidades

• Profile and validate existing data products: completeness, consistency, freshness and fitness for use case.
• Investigate data quality issues, trace to source systems and document root causes and fixes.
• Maintain data product documentation: definitions, glossary terms, lineage, owners and SLAs.
• Gather user feedback and translate it into backlog items with clear acceptance criteria.
• Work with business stakeholders to capture requirements and define KPIs.
• Explore source data, propose data models and prototype datasets or dashboards.
• Support data engineers in building pipelines by writing specifications, test cases and sample queries.
• Prepare data used by AI/ML use cases, including feature exploration and labelling checks.
• Apply data governance, access control and information security rules to every product touched.
• Take part in agile ceremonies and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
