Job summary

Decskill is seeking a Communication & Engagement Specialist – Data & AI for a Lisbon project. You will coordinate communication activities across client portfolios, maintain planners, timelines and publication schedules, and write English content for announcements, newsletters, and campaigns.

You will plan webinars, manage content on SharePoint and Viva Engage, translate complex technical information, and ensure consistent messaging across channels.

Qualifications

• Degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in communication, content management or communication support.
• Strong experience with MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Experience creating, editing and proofreading professional content in English.
• Experience coordinating communication plans, newsletters, campaigns and stakeholder reviews.
• Knowledge of digital communication channels, preferably SharePoint and Viva Engage.
• Experience organizing webinars, virtual events or community engagement activities.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaborative working practices.
• Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English (C1 - is mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication activities across the Client portfolio, maintaining communication planners, timelines and publication schedules.
• Gather and consolidate input from stakeholders, coordinate review cycles and follow up on agreed actions.
• Write, edit and proofread English content, including announcements, newsletters, campaign materials, presentations and web content.
• Manage the newsletter lifecycle, from editorial planning and content collection to stakeholder review and publication.
• Plan and coordinate webinars, information sessions and community calls, including agendas, invitations, speaker coordination and follow-up communication.
• Create, update and publish approved content on Siemens communication channels, including SharePoint and Viva Engage.
• Support communication campaigns, service launches, migrations and change-management initiatives.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging and audience-appropriate content.
• Ensure consistency in messaging, terminology, tone and visual presentation across communication channels.
• Identify opportunities to improve communication processes, service visibility and community engagement.
