Siemens Portugal invites applicants for a 12-month paid internship in Lisboa-Amadora area, offering hybrid work. You will support cybersecurity awareness and learning initiatives, craft engaging content across newsletters, newsletters, presentations and social posts, and help promote campaigns and events. A related degree and strong English are required.

You will join a global tech leader with opportunities for learning, mentorship, and hands-on experience in internal communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and visual storytelling.

Responsabilités

• Support the development and execution of an annual cybersecurity awareness and learning plan.
• Create compelling communication materials, including newsletters, articles, presentations and social posts.
• Promote team achievements across internal channels with proactive visibility.
• Help plan, coordinate, and promote cybersecurity campaigns, training and events.
• Take ownership of smaller projects from planning through delivery and follow‑up.
• Develop professional PowerPoint presentations with clear visual storytelling.
• Review content for quality, editorial accuracy and visual consistency.
• Publish and maintain content on platforms like SharePoint and Viva Engage.
• Experiment with digital tools and trends to improve engagement.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity Awareness & Curriculum teams and stakeholders.

Your mission will be…

• Driving communication and visibility: Support the development and execution of an annual communication plan to promote our cybersecurity awareness and learning initiatives, upcoming activities, and achievements across Siemens.
• Creating engaging content: Develop compelling communication materials, including newsletters, articles, presentations, digital campaigns, and social media-style posts, tailored to different audiences and communication channels.
• Promoting our successes: Proactively identify opportunities to showcase our team's achievements, milestones, and impact, ensuring consistent visibility across relevant internal channels.
• Supporting campaigns and initiatives: Help plan, coordinate, and promote cybersecurity awareness campaigns, training programs, events, and other engagement activities.
• Managing projects end-to-end: Take ownership of smaller projects and initiatives, from initial planning and stakeholder coordination through execution, delivery, and follow-up, ensuring timelines, quality, and objectives are met.
• Developing impactful presentations: Create and enhance professional PowerPoint presentations that communicate complex topics clearly, combining strong visual storytelling, effective design, and audience-focused messaging.
• Ensuring content quality and consistency: Review and refine communication and learning materials from a visual, editorial, and user-experience perspective, ensuring a professional, engaging, and consistent look and feel.
• Managing digital communication channels: Create, publish, and maintain content across platforms such as SharePoint, Viva Engage, and other internal communication channels.
• Bringing fresh ideas: Explore creative approaches, digital tools, and emerging trends to make cybersecurity communication and learning more engaging, accessible, and impactful.
• Supporting the broader team: Contribute to operational and project-related activities within Cybersecurity Awareness & Curriculum, working collaboratively with stakeholders across different teams.

We are looking for someone with…

• A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• A passion for communication and storytelling: with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging, and visually appealing messages.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with attention to language, tone, and audience.
• Strong PowerPoint skills: with the ability to create visually appealing, well-structured, and professional presentations that effectively communicate key messages. A good sense of visual storytelling and information design is highly valued.
• A creative mindset and a strong eye for detail, design, and visual consistency.
• Strong organizational and project management skills: with the ability to independently plan, coordinate, and deliver smaller initiatives, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• A proactive, hands-on approach, with the confidence to take ownership of tasks, propose ideas, and follow through on execution.
• An interest in digital communications, content creation, internal campaigns, and employee engagement.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools; experience with SharePoint, Viva Engage, Canva, or other content creation and design tools is an advantage.
• Curiosity about cybersecurity and digital technologies. Previous cybersecurity experience is not required — a willingness to learn is what matters.
• A collaborative, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset, comfortable working in an international environment and contributing beyond a single area of responsibility.
