Vodafone is seeking a Cyber Solution Engineer (AV & EDR Network Strategist) to design, evaluate and deploy security tooling across its Telco and cloud infrastructure. You will lead PoCs, align with global standards and collaborate with multiple security disciplines to reduce cyber risk.

The role requires hands-on AV/EDR experience, DevOps mindset, and strong communication skills in English, with hybrid work and international collaboration opportunities.

Qualificações

• Six years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with telco and network environments (CNFs, VNFs, PNFs).
• Experience with AV & EDR security solutions.
• DevOps mindset with automation and scripting skills.
• Technical understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Join Vodafone's Cyber Prevent team to design, evaluate and experiment with AV/EDR solutions for telco and network environments.
• Lead AV/EDR Proof of Concepts and adapt solutions to telco environments.
• Collaborate with Cyber Strategy, Cyber Defence, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management and Risk Management teams to integrate AV/EDR controls.
• Contribute to incident response and reporting and promote Vodafone's security best practices.
• Embed a DevSecOps approach across Vodafone's cloud infrastructure.

What you'll do

Join Vodafone's Cyber Prevent team and help shape the future of secured telco and network infrastructure. As a Cyber Solution Engineer (AV & EDR Network Strategist), you'll be at the forefront of designing, evaluating and experimenting with new security AV & EDR solutions to integrate into Vodafone's vast telco and network infrastructure. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to help create a holistic approach for security tooling in unique environments and embed a DevSecOps approach that proactively reduces cyber risk.

Your mission will be to support and lead AV & EDR Proof of Concepts, evaluating new security solutions and adapting them to telco and network environments. You will tackle design challenges due to environment constraints and ensure alignment with global standards and benchmarks. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across Cyber Strategy, Cyber Defence, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, and Risk Management to integrate these AV & EDR security controls and services with our existing processes. You'll also, contribute to incident response and reporting, and act as a visible ambassador for Vodafone's Cyber Code and security best practices.

This is a dynamic, high-impact role where your technical leadership and communication skills will help drive meaningful change across Vodafone's global cloud infrastructure.

Who you are

• Bachelor/Master Degree;
• At least 6 years of professional experience in similar role;
• Hands-on experience with telco and network environment, such as CNFs, VNFs and PNFs with deep understanding of their uniqueness and challenges;
• Experience with AV & EDR security solutions;
• Familiarity with security controls, their implementation, policy design and reporting requirements;
• A DevOps and risk based approach mindset with strong automation and scripting skills;
• Technical understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences;
• A proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration;
• Fluency in English.
