Decskill, part of the Astek Group, is growing and seeking a Cyber Security Senior Officer & CISO Advisor to join our team in Portugal. You will lead security initiatives across IT and business units, shaping resilient architectures and risk-based controls.

You will advise stakeholders, translate complex requirements into concrete security solutions, and drive compliance with ISO standards, cloud security, and modern governance.

Qualificações

• Academic background in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Strong understanding of IT architecture across applications and technology layers.
• Knowledge of IT security standards and frameworks: ISO 27000, ISO 27005, ISO 31000.
• Experience in Security Architecture and Cybersecurity Risk Management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, assess and manage cybersecurity risks across multiple areas, ensuring compliance with corporate security policies and standards.
• Advise IT and business stakeholders on cybersecurity requirements and security guidelines.
• Translate business and technical contexts into security requirements and controls.
• Contribute to cybersecurity projects, assessing risks and defining security solutions, tools, and processes.
• Act as a Security Architect, ensuring designs align with corporate security guidelines.
• Review security deliverables related to IT projects for compliance with Cybersecurity and Risk Management.
• Provide cybersecurity expertise and perform in-depth analysis of complex security scenarios across environments.
• Assess and support security solutions, with a focus on cloud-based architectures.
• Define and recommend improvements to cybersecurity processes, methodologies, and controls.
• Leverage AI technologies to facilitate cybersecurity activities and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with technical, business, security and risk teams.
• Contribute to the definition and evolution of security standards, guidelines, and best practices.

We are looking for an Cyber Security Senior Officer & CISO Advisor!

Responsabilities

• Identify, assess, and manage Cybersecurity risks across multiple areas, ensuring compliance with corporate security policies and standards.
• Act as a key cybersecurity partner and advisor to IT and business stakeholders.
• Interpret different business and technical contexts to identify security requirements and define appropriate security guidelines.
• Contribute to Cybersecurity projects, assessing risks and defining security solutions, tools, and processes.
• Act as a Security Architect, ensuring that solutions are designed and implemented in accordance with corporate security guidelines.
• Review security deliverables related to IT projects, ensuring compliance with Cybersecurity and Risk Management requirements.
• Provide cybersecurity expertise and perform in-depth analysis of complex security scenarios across project and operational environments.
• Assess and support security solutions, with a particular focus on cloud-based architectures.
• Define and recommend improvements to cybersecurity processes, methodologies, and controls.
• Leverage AI technologies to facilitate cybersecurity activities, improve processes, and support risk and security analysis.
• Collaborate closely with technical, business, security, and risk management teams.
• Contribute to the definition and evolution of security standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Requirements

• Academic background in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a relevant field - mandatory.
• Strong understanding of IT architecture, including application and technology layers - mandatory.
• Knowledge of IT Security standards and frameworks, particularly:
• ISO/IEC 27000 series
• ISO/IEC 27005
• ISO 31000
• Knowledge of Cloud-based architectures and related security principles.
• Knowledge of Investment Banking and Financial Services.
• Solid understanding of Cybersecurity Risk Management.
• Experience in Security Architecture and the assessment of technical solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex cybersecurity scenarios and translate business and technical requirements into security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of security governance, policies, standards, and controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and business audiences.
• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently in complex environments.
• Interest or experience in leveraging AI technologies to support cybersecurity processes and activities.
• Good level of english.
