Cyber Security Engineer (relocation to the Netherlands)

We are looking for a Cyber Security Technical Engineer who is willing to relocate to join a dynamic team in Brussels, Belgium.

Are you a highly skilled cybersecurity professional eager to make an impact in critical projects? This role offers an opportunity to support the establishment of a cybersecurity solution architecture service, provide technical expertise across projects, and contribute to cyber security planning, design, and implementation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and delivering a cybersecurity solution architecture service.
• Contribute to the development of architectural guidance and principles.
• Support solution architects with technical insights on cybersecurity architecture.

Cybersecurity Coherence Support

• Ensure architectural consistency and cybersecurity coherence across all assigned projects.
• Provide technical guidance ensuring alignment with established cybersecurity practices and frameworks.

Design and Implementation Support

• Collaborate with architects and SMEs to develop cybersecurity design elements for key projects.
• Offer subject matter expertise (SME) on cybersecurity issues and ensure compliance with defined security standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (MSc) in a relevant field with at least 8 years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree (BSc) with 11 years of experience.
• Desirable certifications: CISM, CISSP, or GIAC Security.

Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in:
• Architectural methodology and design principles (TOGAF/Archimate knowledge is beneficial).
• Cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively to achieve organizational goals.
• Strong English communication and writing skills.
