At Sidel in Portugal, the Crating & Shipping Operator supports conveyor components and equipment through careful packaging, accurate crating, and compliant shipping. You’ll work with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure safe, efficient deliveries and uphold safety, quality, and continuous improvement standards.

Reporting to the Production or Logistics Supervisor, you’ll help keep product flow smooth, organized, and well-documented while following company values and safety rules.

Qualificações

• Experience in packaging, shipping, logistics, manufacturing, or similar operational environments.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused and safety-first mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively while also managing tasks independently and following technical instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge for inventory, shipping, or warehouse systems.
• Forklift licence is considered an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Package conveyor products and equipment in line with company safety rules, quality standards, and shipping requirements.
• Protect product integrity by applying accurate crating, labeling, and handling practices throughout the shipping process.
• Organize and separate products according to shipping documentation and operational priorities.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods using appropriate handling equipment and safe working methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to keep operations connected and efficient.
