Capgemini Engineering in Lisbon is looking for a QA/test engineer to join our engineering services team. You will execute functional and integration tests on CPE devices (routers, ONTs, STBs), validate configurations and report defects to remote and local teams.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in QA, testing, or technical support roles.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, NAT, Wi‑Fi, VLANs).
• Basic understanding of FTTH/GPON services.
• Experience working with CPE devices (routers, access points, STBs).
• Ability to execute test cases and raise defects clearly.
• English fluency (spoken & written).

Responsibilities

• Support CPE testing activities, including validation of routers, ONTs, Wi‑Fi devices and IPTV/VoIP services.
• Execute functional, integration and regression tests on CPE devices (Routers, ONTs, STBs, Mesh).
• Validate firmware releases, configurations and new customer features.
• Configure and maintain lab environments for broadband, Wi‑Fi, IPTV and VoIP testing.
• Perform troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis using logs and network tools.
• Document test results, defects and provide reporting to remote teams.
• Work closely with engineering teams for issue resolution.
