Role Description

The Cost Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Lisbon. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for real estate-related visa projects, including legal services, property acquisition, and associated fees. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project requirements, gathering and validating cost data, developing budgets and forecasts, and tracking actual costs against estimates. The Cost Estimator will collaborate closely with legal, real estate, and finance teams to ensure cost proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with regulatory and business requirements. The role also involves monitoring cost trends, identifying risks, and recommending cost optimization strategies to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Estimation and Budgeting skills for real estate and legal service projects.
• Candidates should possess Cost Management and Cost Control skills to track expenses and maintain financial discipline.
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess risks, and support decision-making.
• Relevant experience in cost estimating for real estate, construction, consulting, or professional services is beneficial.
• Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and financial modeling tools; familiarity with ERP or project management software is an advantage.
• Excellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to present cost analyses clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Professional working proficiency in English; knowledge of Portuguese or other European languages is an asset.
