Contract Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Accountant to join our team in Braga. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company on a contract basis. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous accounting experience looking for a flexible working arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Prepare financial statements and budgets
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Provide timely and accurate financial reports to senior management
• Collaborate with external auditors for year-end audits
• Monitor cash flow and make recommendations for improvement
• Handle tax filings and compliance with local regulations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to achieve savings
• Communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders in an easily understandable manner

Requirements

Salary

Contract Terms
