VML, part of WPP, seeks a Creative Content Creator & Social Media Manager in Portugal. You will craft engaging multi-format content, manage daily publishing, and optimize channel performance across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Reddit.

You will balance global branding with local Portuguese culture and trends. The role requires hands-on video editing, copywriting, and basic design skills, with native Portuguese and fluent English.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or Digital Marketing Specialist.
• Hands-on experience in content creation (video editing, basic visual/graphic design, and copywriting).
• Deep, native understanding of channel mechanics and best practices on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Reddit.
• Native-level Portuguese with excellent writing and communication skills, alongside professional fluency in English.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, agile, and trend-obsessed Content Creator & Social Media Manager based in Portugal to bring our global brand to life across local digital channels.

This hybrid role combines end-to-end content creation with hands-on social media management; you will be responsible for creating engaging multi-format content while also overseeing content planning, daily publishing and channel performance across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Reddit. If you live and breathe digital trends, know what resonates with the Portuguese audience, and can seamlessly balance creative storytelling with social management, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Format Content Production: Concept, script, design, shoot, and edit engaging digital content—including short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), visual assets and carousels tailored for the Portuguese market.
• End-to-End Content Production: Concept, shoot, and edit high-quality, native short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) and visual assets tailored specifically to the Portuguese audience.
• Channel Management & Publishing: Maintain the local content calendar, draft compelling copy, and manage day-to-day scheduling and publishing across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Reddit.
• Agile & Reactive Content Creation: Stay ahead of local cultural moments, social media trends, viral audio, and memes to produce timely, culturally relevant content.
• Brand Localization & Storytelling: Adapt global marketing campaigns and creative guidelines into authentic local content while keeping a consistent brand voice and visual standard.
• Asset & Library Management: Keep media assets, design templates, raw footage, and brand libraries organized for efficient cross-platform distribution.

Role Requirements

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or Digital Marketing Specialist for brands or agencies.
• Strong hands-on experience in content creation (video editing, basic visual/graphic design, and copywriting).
• Deep, native understanding of channel mechanics and best practices on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Reddit.
• Proficiency with video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.) and visual design tools (Canva, Figma, or Photoshop).
• Familiarity with social media management and scheduling
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to turn brand messages into engaging, retention-focused posts across formats.
• Adaptability, speed, and comfort working in fast-paced content cycles and testing new formats on the fly.
• Native-level Portuguese speaker with excellent writing and communication skills, alongside professional fluency in English.
